Fabric Push Button

We made a switch that lights up an LED when pressed, using felt sheets. Even a part like a switch — something usually assumed to be a ready-made component — can be made just by stitching on conductive thread. The result is an adorable little switch that hardly looks like an electronic part at all.

Here's how it's made.

A felt panel with conductive thread stitched vertically and horizontally is sandwiched together with a felt panel that has a hole cut into it, and sewn in place. That's it!
