Giant Salamander (Large)

Exhibited February 4 (Sat) to March 4 (Sun), 2012, as part of the Bloomberg Pavilion Project at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo.
A giant salamander nearly 2 meters long, sculpted from a large quantity of raw wool using needle felting.

Catseye stones are embedded in its eyes, blinking red at all times, and occasionally flashing video like a revolving lantern.
