iPhone-Compatible Gloves

Operating an iPhone with a gloved finger

We made a glove that lets you operate an iPhone or iPod.
It's an easy-to-make ‘high-performance iPhone-compatible glove.’

The materials are just your favorite gloves and conductive thread.
Simply sew the fingertip you use for the touchscreen with conductive thread.
This electrically connects your finger to the surface of the glove.
Touchscreens like the iPhone's respond when electricity passes through them.

(Note: back in 2009, gloves that could operate a smartphone were quite unusual and not widely sold commercially. So at the time, this was genuinely groundbreaking.)
